GRP Site Assembled Rooflights

As one of the UK’s largest stockist of GRP rooflights we ensure that all rooflights conform and are tested to comply with the UK fire requirements in accordance with BS BS 476 Part 3, 6 and 7 "Fire Tests and the HSE ACR HSE ACR(M) 001:2000 "Test for Fragility of Roofing Assemblies" and Building Regulations Part L 2:2001 "Conservation of Fuel and Power". To provide the best service to our customers, we stock some of the most popular profiles of GRP translucent rooflights.

This is ideal for quick turn around projects and also ideal for maintenance companies. These can be collected from our warehouse or we can deliver these products throughout the country. Popular profiles stocked are TAC (Arcelor) R31, R34 and Tactray liner, Euroclad 32/1000F and 19/1000 liner, plus popular fibre cement profile Bigsix and Double Six M, other profiles are stocked so please call our sales office for further information. FAIRS GRP Factory Assembled Rooflights

GRP double and triple skin factory assembled rooflights are available to suit varying manufacturer profiles such as Kingspan KS1000RW, these also comply with all the new UK Building regulations. These are available in varying weights to satisfy all requirements for non-fragility up to 25 years. A full technical and scheduling service is available from ourselves for these products.

Opalit GRP Opaque Panels

Ideal for corrosive environments, Opalit panels are manufactured from polyester resins; with a gelcoat to both sides ensuring excellent resistance in aggressive environments. Ideal for marine or chemical environments and available in various colours and profiles, this can provide an aesthetic but practical product.

Acrylit Polyester Reinforced Acrylic

Acrylit® is the only plastic sheet that combines the high light diffusion and durability of acrylic resin with high mechanical strength, especially to impact, provided by the fibre glass reinforcement. Acrylit®, a product available world-wide exclusively from Stabilit, is manufactured from the highest quality raw materials and protected on both sides with gelcoat to further guarantee its durability. Acrylit® is the only plastic sheet that diffuses 95% of incoming light to provide better lighting, eliminating shadows and areas of increased inside temperature.

Carbolit Structured Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate structured rooflights are available in varying thicknesses and are ideal for greenhouses, canopies, walkways, smoking shelters and can be used in various other applications.

Multiwall polycarbonates are lightweight and have a high impact resistance and thermally efficient. Together with high levels of light transmission these are a high quality aesthetic product and an ideal glass replacement.

V-Dome Polycarbonate Domelights

Polycarbonate domes and pyramids are available in a range of standard sizes and configurations fitted with single, double and triple layers of polycarbonate glazing. They can be ordered with or without an insulated kerb and can be fitted to existing or new builders' kerbs. Manual or electric opening can be provided for fresh air ventilation and controllable trickle ventilation is an option. Access hatches and smoke vents can be supplied in a range of sizes.

Our V-fast range of fixings and components for the industrial roofing and cladding industry is second to none.

We carry large stocks of all the day to day ancillary components used within the industry. This range includes light and heavy section fixings, with washers or without. Moulded Colour headed fixings, countersunk wing-drills and high-threaded fixings for composite panels.

Irius Low profile fixings form SFS Intec

Irius universal self drilling fixings as manufactured by SFS Intec are available from Vale Cladding Supplies Ltd. Available in various colour headed finishes in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel for high performance applications. 'They offer a neat rivet type finish that gives a smooth looking appearance and are easy to fix'The low profile head is an ideal solution for fascias and where the client requires an aesthetic solution.

With the special fixing tool the fixings can be used throughout the roofing construction process, from fixing liner panels, spacer bar system and can be used for fixing the outer sheet and will work for stitching side laps and flashings.

Spacer System & Insulation

V-Bar Spacer System

The V-Bar System is easy to install and acquires robust strength as the bar length is progressed. Due to its symmetrical shape, the bar can be laid in any orientation on and wall applications. By virtue of the simple twisting action, brackets may be repositioned in any direction along the bar with ease.

The shallow profile of the bar reduces compression of the insulation and leads to a more thermally efficient twin skin construction. Insulation Glassfibre & Boards

Insulation quilt and boards are available to meet with current ‘building U’ value requirements. Crown factoryclad is available in various thickness rolls for built up roof and wall construction. Insulation boards for use with Kingspan composite detailing and roof contruction works are available ex-stock. To complement our range of roofing accessories we are also able to offer the supply and delivery of composite roof and wall panels form popular manufacturers such as Kingspan and Corus. With this we are able to supply single skin roofing products from the likes of Euroclad and TAC (Arcelor). These are available in various finishes and colours to meet the customers requirements. Suitable for new build or refurbishment work, these products can be aesthetically pleasing and practical.
